Plein Air Painting in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Virginia! - Day Rate
Plein Air Painting in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Virginia! - Day Rate
Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8
Join artist Wes Sherman for two days of plein air painting in the scenic Blue Ridge Highlands of southwest Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Tennessee. Each day will include set ups at new locations for opportunities to paint awe-inspiring vistas, pristine forests, mountain streams, and picturesque natural landmarks, like the rock formation Backbone Rock in the Cherokee National Forest.
This experience is for painters, both experienced and beginners, and anyone interested in working en plein air. This lovely region, well-known to Sherman, whose family resides nearby, has been an inspiration for many of his own paintings, like “Sunset Over Shady Valley”. Come see it—and paint it—for yourself!
